There is a special widget area called “Opt-In Widget”. This is designed specifically for–you guessed it–an opt-in subscribe form.
This widget area shows up under the grid on the homepage, and under the logo and navigation area on all other pages.
To Make It Look Like The Demo…
Use the Genesis eNews Extended plugin to add the form. The plugin used for this works with AWeber, Convertkit, Mailchimp, Feedburner, and some others.
- Make sure you have Genesis eNews Extended installed & activated.
- Go to Appearance >> Widgets and put a Genesis – eNews Extended widget into the widget area of your choosing.
- You will need to configure the widget based on what email marketing provider you use. This tutorial covers how to do this for the most popular platforms.
- For best results, keep the button text as “Go” or something short.
For this particular widget area, you’ll want to use a title and put some text in the text to show before form box.
